We’ve had a few antique Bibles come through the shop, but this one is my favorite. It’s leather, the page edges are gilded and there is family history inside. It dates back from 1873 and it weighs nearly 12 pounds!

These guys are made with antique European hemp sheets and sewn up to make these German style treats. I made some of what we’re supposed to prototypes for next year, but they turned out on my first go around, so I may release a few before Christmas gets too near. I’ll share details tomorrow on the “salty snack” project I completed today…it’s too dark for a good photo. Tomorrow I’ll finally be pulling my paints back out, and using my new @candace_fincher watercolor palette.
